Comfortable Summer Outfits from Target’s Wild Fable

In today’s post we will take a closer look at some of Target’s must-have summer outfits that will have you looking and feeling your best. So grab your sunglasses and get ready to elevate your summer style with Target’s fashion-forward and budget-friendly pieces. I enjoy shopping at Target, and the Wild Fable brand has a few hidden gems. These are especially nice for alternatives to shorts for hot summer weather.

Summer Outfits With A Tank & Skort

One of the most comfortable go-to summer outfits is a tank and skort combination. I liked this one so much that I bought it in two colors, cherry red gingham and green gingham. It also comes in tan and blue gingham. The tank is a high neck, fitted style with an asymmetrical hemline and a side-seam tie string. I’m wearing a size medium and it comes in sizes XXS-2X

Here is a full view of the front and back. The skirt is a nice length and features an easy pull on style with built in shorts. I did size down in the skirt to an XS since it seemed to run a little big. This is one of those outfits that you will wear over and over because it’s so comfortable and flattering.

So let’s take a look at the green gingham version. Honestly, there isn’t a color that I don’t like, and I had a hard time deciding on just two colors!

I appreciate that the gingham print is subtle, which makes the outfit look more chic.

The last Target summer outfit is similar to the set, but it’s the slip dress version in black and white gingham.

Of the three summer outfits, this one is my least favorite. I will always give you my honest opinion, and I think most women my age (or even younger) will find this style very unforgiving. I’m wearing some biker shorts underneath and it still shows every lump and bump…especially in the tummy area.

I’m wearing my Cakes and no bra, which is okay but I would prefer more support. If you’re not familiar with Cakes, then you will want to read this post. For me this will be a lounge around the house dress or a swim cover up, but I would not feel comfortable wearing it out around town.
