Vacation Packing List & Capsule Wardrobe

I have included swimwear and a neutral coverup that will go with all the different swimsuits. For a beach vacation consider packing at least three different swimsuits. This will give you variety and allow time to wash them if needed.

For this vacation packing list, I chose two one piece options and a two piece swimsuit. The crochet style cover up is very on trend and will match all the swimwear. Also don’t forget a straw hat to protect your face from the sun, and some sun glasses.

Dresses and Two Piece Sets

Besides being cool and comfortable, dresses and two piece sets eliminate all the thought of putting an outfit together. They are perfect for travel and make wardrobe building so much easier.

The quintessential sundress with flowers and smocking detail…yes! Wear this dress out to a restaurant or sight seeing. Pair with sandals or white sneakers to suit your occasion.

Athletic dresses are not just for sports. They are acceptable fashion pieces and are perfect for warm weather trips. They have built in shorts so no need to worry about modesty.

This scalloped edge dress is so flattering. I have it in navy, and thought this pink version would fit the travel packing list perfectly.

Tops

The other two pair of shorts are basics that can be worn so many ways. I always like to have a casual black flowy short option and a linen shorts option. This pair in olive green is a winner!

What If I Don’t Wear Shorts?

Many women simply do not enjoy wearing shorts for many reasons. Personally I think skirts are more comfortable. Here are some bonus items to replace the shorts in this capsule wardrobe if you don’t like to wear shorts.

Shoes

Handbag For Vacation Packing List
