Fall Special Occasion Dresses Under $100

Whether you have a wedding to attend or some other special occasion, I have some great options for you from Amazon that are all under $100! Shopping for a formal dress can be so frustrating, so I hope this takes away some of the stress for you.

Formals

I chose two formal styles. These would be ideal for weddings, whether you are a guest or part of the wedding party (bridesmaid, or mother of the bride). These could also be worn for a formal holiday party.

V-Neck Evening Dress

The first fall special occasion dress under $100 is this V-neck evening dress. I went with classic black, but this style comes in several colors. Since this post originally was published, this dress has sold out. This one and this one are similar.

I’m wearing a size 10, which is pretty typical for me. I would recommend going with your normal size. The bust has some ruching and there is a flutter sleeve.

It zips up the back to a low V. I was able to get by without wearing a bra at all, but I think you could wear a normal bra with this dress as long as the back was low enough.

Floral Lace Maxi Dress

This floral lace maxi dress in emerald green is my personal favorite. There are other colors to choose from. I’m wearing a large, and since the top has a small amount of padding I was able to not wear a bra. It was almost a little too big, so unless you are compensating for a larger chest go with your normal size.

Besides the color, the feminine lace details are what I really love about this one!

Skirts

Skirts are a good option because you can style them different ways for different occasions. This first outfit centers around this tulle skirt with a floral mesh overlay. It looks much more expensive than it acutually is!

It has an elastic waist and you could tuck a shirt or sweater if you prefer.

I chose a simple V-neck black sweater and nude heels to complete this look. This sweater is by Amazon Essentials. You can see it in camel here.

The next look is a flowing floral maxi skirt. This skirt just makes you feel glamorous! It has an elastic waistline that in my opinion runs a bit small. I sized up to a large. If you are petite, you will probably need to have this hemmed. I’m 5’7″ and still need to wear heels with it, or it drags along the floor.

There are so many different directions you could go when choosing a top for this skirt. I thought it would be interesting to wear a simple white button down for a classic structured look that did not compete with the voluminous skirt.

Fall Floral Dress

The last fall special occasion dress under $100 is this beautiful fall floral dress. You could wear this to a less formal wedding, church, or even to the office. I wish this one was still available, but this one is similar.

It has a high neckline, and a midi length that is very flattering. I sized up to a large for the extra room up top, but I still think it runs just a little bit small.
