Natural Looking Makeup In 5 Minutes Or Less

Whether you enjoy wearing makeup or dread applying it every day, this easy look is my current go-to routine for days when I want a “no makeup” look. These products are multitasking, affordable, and easy to apply and will give you the confidence you want, while still looking natural. So, here are the products I use to get natural looking makeup in 5 minutes or less!

Natural Looking Makeup

This is a very minimal look. My skin was prepped with my usual morning skincare routine. You can see it here. I did not use any primer…only the 6 items in the photo above.

natural looking makeup: the products I use

Maybelline Dream BB Fresh:

BB Cream for natural looking makeup

This first product is a rediscovery from last year. I often wear less makeup in the spring and summer months, and I reached for this Maybelline Dream BB Fresh last week and was so impressed with the finish it gave my skin. I decided to repurchase in one shade darker (120-medium).

This is a very light coverage beauty balm that hydrates, has an SPF 30, brightens, smooths, and blurs imperfections. It is available in 5 shades and best of all it is under $10!

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser

This is another important product in my natural looking makeup routine. If you have discoloration under your eyes, this will really improve the look of that area. I like the pink shade (160) because I have cool pink undertones. This has been in my makeup collection for years, and is a good less expensive concealer for days when I don’t wear a lot of makeup.

e.l.f. Halo Glow Setting Powder

Natural looking makeup needs to have a bit of a glow and it looks more natural. For this reason, I like to set my nose, forehead, and under eye area with a light dusting of this very fine powder. If you really don’t like powder, you could skip this step. This one looks very natural and helps disguise my pores a little bit. I’m in the shade “light”.

Tarte Maneater Silk Stick Bronzer

Over 50: natural looking makeup

This has become my daily contour and it’s the only non-drugstore brand on my list today. Ladies, you can find more inexpensive bronzers but this one is really hard to beat. It has a cool undertone and never looks orange. Plus, I only use a tiny bit just under my cheekbones and it blends out like a dream. I’m in the shade “Sundown”.

e.l.f. Halo Glow Beauty Wand Blush

This product is amazing! It is a close dupe to a couple of other high end products that are very similar. For my natural makeup look, I love the glow it gives my cheeks. Sometimes cheek highlighters can actually make my skin look older, but this is just the perfect amount of shimmer.

I have two colors of this: Rose You Slay and Berry Radiant. I’m wearing Rose You Slay in the photos.

Another way I have saved time with this look is by not wearing any eye makeup. I simply swiped a bit of this blush on my eyelids and that was it! If you prefer a little more on the eyes, mascara would be an easy addition.

Maybelline Lifter Gloss

The finishing touch on my natural makeup look is my all time favorite lip gloss in the shade Peach Ring. Even if you don’t normally wear warm tones (which I don’t), this shade is so flattering and gives you the perfect juicy lip.
