For years I have had unruly, frizz prone hair that requires blow drying or heat styling in some form to look presentable. If you have wanted to embrace your natural waves and avoid heat styling your hair, then the Kitsch Air Dry Cream may work for you. This is not a sponsored post, yet I have used this product for a couple of months now and I can honestly say that it helps my hair tremendously.
Have you ever wondered how some women can air dry their hair and have it look so effortlessly beautiful? I sure have. A lot of it has to do with the texture of the hair, and we can’t change that; however we can use products to help manage our hair if it does not air dry nicely.

Now that I am in my mid 50’s, my hair is still wavy and frizz prone but it is also more fragile so I really try to minimize heat styling as much as possible. I’m fortunate to have enough natural curl that I can enhance it with a product like this and feel confident enough to be seen in public.

How I Use kitsch Air Dry Cream

Starting with clean, wet hair apply the product all over the hair focusing especially on the ends or anywhere that frizz is a problem for you.

Then I take a towel and scrunch the hair to enhance the natural curl that I have.

…and this is what it looks like while still wet. At this point the less you touch it or fuss with it the better. Just let it dry while you do other things. The photo below is when the hair is almost completely dry.

You can really see how the curls are forming.

The Finished Look

After the hair is fully dried, I gently run my fingers through it, especially at the root so it doesn’t look flat at the crown. And that’s it! This is how I wear my hair about 50% of the time. I don’t think it is my best look; however, I feel confident enough to run errands and go about my day without having to wear my hair up.
It’s so nice to take a break from heat styling my hair, not only for the health of my hair but for the convenience. With summer right around the corner this will most likely be my go-to hair style for work at home days.

I have tried other “air dry” products and was not very impressed. Some were even more expensive like the Redkin No Blow Dry. It was just okay. The kitsch air dry cream also has castor oil in it, so the oil helps control frizz. So if you think you can’t air dry your hair ( I feel your pain), you may have success with this product. I will certainly keep using it!
