Decorate With Me: Winter Bedroom Decor

How is your holiday decorating coming along? I decided to give my bedroom a winter refresh that will brighten up these shorter days. It was a simple project of using a few new things (mostly bedding) and repurposing some things I already had. Here are some bedroom winter decor ideas to inspire you this season!

Bedding has such an impact on a bedroom, so I started with this three piece forest cabin quilt set from Amazon. I was originally looking for a duvet cover, but this set was so reasonably priced that I chose it instead. I also added the beige faux fur throw.

Let’s talk about the windows. I switched out my long black out curtains for a white sheer to maximize the light . I’ve had these curtains for years, and even though they are not my favorite they will work for a few months.

What really added the ambience was the addition of fairy lights to the windows. They add so much warmth and charm during the winter time, and also look pretty from outside the house. These have 8 different lighting modes and are remote control for easy on/off.

This also allows me to enjoy the view out the back! Isn’t he so handsome? I named him Stetson.

A few extra touches of winter decor and my space was transformed. If you want to cozy up your bedroom, these few simple and affordable changes can make the biggest impact! Before you shop, try to repurpose something you already have and be creative.

For example, I took down the floral art above our nightstands and replaced them with simple wreaths and an ornament in the center that I purchased for $2 while thrifting!
