Minori Daily Mineral Face Sunscreen

As I always say, sunscreen needs to be a part of your daily skincare/makeup routine no matter what time of year. As fall and winter season approach, the tendency may be to slack up on your sunscreen use, but that is a mistake! Daily exposure to the sun in the fall and winter can still damage your skin, so don’t forget your sunscreen.

I have tried several mineral sunscreens, and the Minori Daily Mineral Face Sunscreen did not disappoint. It wears well with my other skincare products as well as under makeup. It has a slight tint and is a creamy formula that does not feel greasy.

Minori Beauty Cream Blush

Fall makeup ideas include changing your mindset to richer blush tones. I was sent two cream blushes to try: Sweet Pea and Orchid. For this look, I chose Orchid which is a deep plum color.

For this look, I adding just a touch of the Champagne Cream Highlighter. For my mature skin, I am careful not to use a lot of highlighter as in emphasizes my fine lines and texture.

This is a lovely finish that gives a slight glow to the skin. The Champagne color will flatter a wide variety of skin tones as well!

Eyes

Fall makeup ideas can really take off with your choice of eye makeup. This is another way to really incorporate those deeper fall inspired tones like purple, berry, creams, and browns.

For this look, I used one of the best little gems in the makeup world…the e.l.f. Bitesize Eyeshadow Palette. These little quad palettes are only $3 and they perform as well as any high end eyeshadow. I have them in several shades, and for this look I used Rose Water.

Notice I’m wearing a plum/burgundy sweater which is the hottest color trend for fall 2024. To play off of that, I used the plum colors of this palette for a little pop of color on my eyes.

Lips

Minori Beauty sent me their Lip Gloss in the shade Blossom. I’m a big fan of lip gloss for mature lips. This is another formula that was pleasant to wear and performed well. Be sure to check out the other colors: Dream, Cozy, and Juneberry.

It gave my lips a nice wash of color and shine without being too harsh. The Vitamin E, Shea Butter, and Jojoba Seed Oil all contribute to the butter texture and moisturized my lips.

Fall makeup ideas can be refreshing and fun to experiment with! Remember these tips:

• If you are not self tanning, you may need to go with a lighter foundation
• Have fun with bolder, richer colors that flatter your skin tone

• Use a plum colored lip gloss for a pop of color instead of a deep matte lipstick- these can be very harsh for mature lips
