It’s a busy week in the retail world! I have my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale picks for you today so you can shop the sale with simplicity. I purposely chose only the items that I would personally buy or that were wardrobe basics to help you build your fall wardrobe. I also tried to steer away from the same things we see every year with the exceptions of a few yearly favorites.
Trends I’m Noticing
There are a few trends that I picked up on while previewing the sale this year.
- Burgundy or Cranberry is a hot color for fall 2023 (I included some pieces in this post)
- Less Long Cardigans
- Bold colorful coats
- Flare or wide leg jeans
- Fashion Sneakers
- Luxurious Lounge Clothes
- Pleated Trousers
- Shorter Length Sweaters and Sweatshirts
- Light Colored Boots
Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Hair Favorites
I’ve been dealing with damaged hair and Olaplex has been part of the restoration process. I also highly recommend the T3 hair styling tools!
Beauty Favorites
I didn’t see a whole lot the really excited me in the beauty category. I do want to point out the Nu Face Mini Device. I have and use this and now is a great time to get one!
NAS Sweaters
Most of the sweaters I picked this year are neutrals. You will see lots of creamy white, but the styles are different. The teal Free People sweater also comes in other colors and would be perfect for leggings. Notice the purple/cranberry sweater with the bell sleeves…very on trend for fall 2023! The cream capped sleeve sweater also caught my attention for early fall.
Loungewear
There are some great loungewear pieces in this year’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Some are a little more expensive, but if you work from home like I do I find these pieces well worth the money spent. I’m hoping to get the 3-piece set for myself!
Denim
As I mentioned, the denim trends are continuing with wide leg, boot cut, flares, or straight leg as the predominant styles. Here are my favorites denim picks included in this year’s sale.
Dresses
I personally don’t wear as many dresses in the fall and winter as I do in the summer. I did pull out a few that would be nice for any special occasion you might have. They would also be nice for church or work.
