Fall Outfits For Now & Later

August is a transitional month for fashion. While the weather is still quite hot in most places, we have a tendency to lean into fall tones and think about fall outfits. I always purchase a few transitional pieces that I can wear for the hot early fall months. Here are a few fall outfits you can wear now and later.

Fall Outfits With Shorts Sleeve Sweater

One of the easiest ways to lean into fall is with an Autumn toned short sleeve sweater. This is a subtle nod to fall style without being too hot. I picked up a few styles from Walmart and I’m so happy with how they look. I know I will enjoy these for several months.

Short Sleeved Cardigan & Sweat Pants Jeans

If you haven’t heard me talk about the sweat pants jeans from Amazon, then you are missing out! I was very skeptical of these, but they are surprisingly decent quality and so comfortable! They look like jeans and feel like sweat pants…win!

How pretty is this marigold yellow sweater for fall? This is a fairly new drop from Free Assembly so don’t wait too long as they usually sell out quickly. I’m wearing a size small and there are also other colors to choose from.

This outfit is completed with a new pair of pointed toe flats by Time And Tru. I’m wearing the chocolate brown and there are three other colors…the burgundy is really pretty!

Fall Outfit #2

This outfit is another simple combination that could be worn for many occasions. Substitute a skirt or dress pants for a work wear outfit. This short sleeve sweater by Scoop is a button up style with a puff sleeve. The ribbing at the waist is very flattering. This is the color Maroon Oak, and I’m wearing a size small.

Lounge or Travel Outfit For Fall

Scoop’s highly popular scubaknit top and pants are on sale right now for a steal! The funnel neck top and the jogger style pants are both $7.99 each. These feel so soft and expensive…you will want to pick up as many of these as you can. They run true to size and I’m wearing a size small in the top and pants.

A set like this one is a must-have for any casual wardrobe. Wear now in the air conditioning or when traveling for guaranteed comfort and style.

My sneakers are another new find from Walmart. They are the Time And Tru Women’s Driving Sneakers. The website shows them styled with both pair of laces and I’m not sure how I feel about that look? Your thoughts? I think I might rather pick one pair of laces at a time.
