Late Summer Outfit Idea

August is finally here, so in my mind I sort of switch over to the fall season. I know it’s still summer, but there are some of you who anticipate fall and love it like I do. What to wear in late summer can be sort of hard. For me, I tend to grow tired of my summer staple outfits and I want something different. It’s way too hot here in Georgia to even entertain fall clothes, so I usually purchase a few new things to help the transition from summer to fall. Here is a late summer outfit idea in case you need some inspiration.

This is a way to freshen up my everyday wardrobe, while still dressing for the summer heat. I wore this outfit yesterday, and I give it a 10/10! The color says hello fall, but the outfit is flowy and cool. It comes in several other colors if the rust color is not your thing. Truthfully, it’s not the best color for me but I wanted this color anyway.

It is comfortable enough to be considered loungewear, yet looked nice enough that I ran errands in it. If you will be traveling, this would be a nice outfit to wear in the airport or car and would layer nice with a sweater.

Paired with my brown jelly shoes that I mentioned in a previous post, this late summer outfit will get me through October. I did size up one size, which was the right choice. Many Amazon pants with elastic run small – and these are no exception.
