Must See New Arrivals From Spanx

When you hear the word “spanx” do you immediately envision some unsightly shapewear? Spanx has certainly made a name for themselves in the shapewear industry, but they also are known for their quality basics that just happen to enhance your figure! So erase the girdle from your mind, and prepare for some must see new arrivals from Spanx.

I picked three new arrivals that are also basic wardrobe essentials. You will notice that the price point for these items is higher than the things that I normally share here. Although my goal is always affordable style, sometimes it’s worth spending a little extra for a quality piece that you look good in and you will get multiple wears out of throughout the season.

These are the three pieces that I chose.

Style Suggestions

As you can imagine with basics like these, the possibilities are endless. You can layer the turtleneck under shirts, sweaters, or jackets. The skirt can be worn with many colors, with or without tights, and with any type of shoe! The jeans are comfortable enough to sit down in for long periods and go with everything.

Turtle Neck + Skirt + Tall Boots

This skirt is amazing and is my personal favorite of all three piece. It is so figure flattering and comfortable! It has built in shorts both for modesty and shaping. I’m wearing a size large in both the skirt and the top.

Next, I added a layer with this sweater from Loft.

and finally here is the same outfit with black ballet flats. By the way, ballet flats are making a comeback this fall! I’m wearing the Time And Tru Quilted Ballet Flat from Walmart.

Kick Flare Jeans + Black Turtleneck

Let’s talk a little bit more about these kick flare jeans. They come in regular, petite, and tall. Sizes XS-3X. I’m wearing an XL-regular. I would suggest sizing up one size as these do run small. Two washes are available; this darker wash that I’m wearing and a lighter one.

This is a pull on style with functional belt loops. As a mentioned, they are very comfortable and would be suitable for traveling or sitting for long periods of time. These are ankle length with a slightly flared leg. If you don’t like the current wide leg jeans that we are seeing everywhere, this might be a good alternative.
