New Spring Styles From Kohl’s

I hope you are ready for a glimpse of spring because today I have some new spring styles from Kohl’s to show you. Most of today’s pieces are from a new line at Kohl’s called Draper James, which is Reese Witherspoon’s clothing line. Named after her grandparents, Dorothea Draper and William James Witherspoon this is a beautiful collection with feminine style.

I found the sizing of this brand to run a little small. I tried on several different pieces and the wrap dresses seemed to run very small through the chest and did not work for me. I’m wearing a medium in everything you see in the photos below. The price point is in the moderate range; however, the quality matches the price and even though this collection is not eligible for Kohl’s coupons, they do go on sale.

Button Front Eyelet Dress

This first dress is probably my personal favorite, and I did keep this dress thinking that I will wear it for Easter. I love yellow, but I know not everyone can wear this shade. If yellow is not a good color for you, consider this white dress, which is nearly identical.

This is obviously a sleeveless style with a button front mock neck. It is also fully lined so no need to worry about it being see through. I will certainly enjoy wearing this by itself in the hot summer months, but for spring I really like how it paired with the white cardigan sweater!

My shoes are neutral and came from Walmart (last year). I recently picked up this pair from Amazon and I really love them! Sometimes the ankle strap on the Walmart style irritates me, so I was looking for a slip on style braided sandal.

Puff Sleeve Shirt Dress

I had a hard time deciding between the yellow dress and this floral shirt dress! I love the periwinkle blue floral pattern and the tie waist style of this one.

If you prefer sleeves vs. sleeveless, this is a good option. Keep in mind with the puff sleeves that you would not be able to layer a cardigan over it.

This would also make a good Easter dress, which by the way is April 17th this year.

Linen Blend Blazer & Shorts

Next is a look that is guaranteed to stand out because it is a little unexpected. Mixing this linen blend blazer with the shorts instead of traditional dress pants is a very chic spring look. Either piece would also be a nice stand alone piece as well. They will mix and match with other things nicely.

I layered the blazer with my favorite lace tank from Amazon. I’m wearing the blazer in a medium, but it was snug through the shoulders on me. Keep this in mind if you have broad shoulders like I do.

The shorts are also a medium, and they are very high waisted. I am 5’7″ and they hit me mid thigh, so they are a modest length.

Jogger Pants Styled Two Ways

This last piece from Kohl’s is from Nine West. These jogger pants would be a great addition to your spring wardrobe. They are a nice blend of dressy and casual, and I have dressed them up a bit here a couple of different ways.

These come in five different colors in sizes XS to XXL. I’m wearing the dusty olive in a size medium. I would classify these as more of a midrise with an elastic waistband. They also have an elastic cuff at the ankles.

For the first look, I paired the joggers with a traditional white button down blouse from Amazon and some black square toed sandals. This type of shoe is going to be on trend again this year. My handbag is Kate Spade (last year) and I will link something similar.

For the last look, I chose this ruffle shoulder sweatshirt by Lauren Conrad. The velour fabric is super soft and this top is currently on clearance.

I chose this floral as a nice transition to spring look, but it also comes in some really pretty solid colors.
