The past couple of summers I have been experimenting with wearing pretty swim cover ups as dresses. I prefer to wear dresses even at home in the summer months, and swim cover ups are so light and airy. You are probably thinking what about them being see through? Well, that is always a consideration but I have some tips to make them wearable at the pool, beach, or out and about.
I recently purchased this white tiered swim cover up dress at T.J. Maxx. It has a low v-neck in the front, so I put a white tank underneath. For the skirt, I just wore a half slip underneath.
If you are traveling this summer, a piece like this can multitask.
After a hot summer day, I love to change into a dress like this to lounge at home. I feel elegant and comfortable and then I don’t worry if it is a little see through. Sometimes I even wear swim cover ups as pajamas.

- Wear spandex shorts underneath
