Welcome to my new series I’m calling Tuesday Trends. Each Tuesday I’m sharing three outfit ideas to help inspire you to either shop your closet or add some new pieces to your wardrobe. We all get in a rut at times or have trouble figuring out what to wear. These fall outfit ideas are meant to help you put together an outfit you will feel good in all day.

Fall Outfit Ideas: Pleated Sweater Dress
First, this pleated sweater dress could be worn for so many different occasions. Consider a piece like this for workwear, church, special event, or date night. You can really dress this up or down by changing the shoes and accessories.
The pleated skirt, long sleeves, and crew neckline give this a very classic look. I’m wearing the color ivory in size medium. Available in 6 other colors, and runs true to size.
My shoes are leopard print ballet flats and I love the combination of the winter white with the animal print!
Outfit #2: Casual Comfort
Fall is the perfect time to take a walk and enjoy being outside. For this type of day, I love a good pair of leggings and a tunic length sweatshirt. This sweatshirt is so flattering because you can cinch in the waist with the adjustable cord. I love this pink color, but it also comes in some nice neutrals. It does run a bit oversized, and I’m wearing a size medium.
It gives nice bum coverage with my favorite leggings from Aerie. These are the Offline By Aerie Real Me Crossover Leggings. I have several pair of these and highly recommend them for a casual and comfortable fit. They do not have a ton of compression, but just enough to make you feel confident in them.
Outfit #3: Denim + Cropped Sweater
This outfit is a good example of how older women can wear cropped style sweaters. It’s important that no tummy is not showing and that the proportions of the sweater balance out with the wide leg jeans.
Now I’m going to surprise you…this sweater is from Walmart! It’s the No Boundaries Brand so you may need to size up. I’m wearing a medium in the blue. It comes in other colors and is quite warm. I can’t believe this cute cardigan is under $20.
If you wear it buttoned up, you will need to wear something underneath. The V is quite low. I just wore a nude colored cami.
My jeans are the super wide leg jeans by Universal Thread at Target. These do run a little large, so you may want to size down.

I always appreciate your style aesthetic, and how you show very affordable options. Some other bloggers I read tend to show lots of items in the 200-300 dollar range, which is okay periodically, but not for routine wear.
You’re lovely and I appreciate receiving your emails…although I’m getting them duplicate for some reason.

Thank you Kathy! I will check and see why you might be getting duplicates.
