My love of dresses is not limited to the summer months. I enjoy casual dresses into the fall season as well! Today I’m pulling out one of my all time favorites from my closet and showing you how to style an effortless fall maxi dress look.
This dress is from Amazon and I’ve had it for a couple of years. It’s still right in style and currently available in this gorgeous fall pumpkin color. If this color is not the best for you, don’t worry…it comes in several other color options.
Maxi dresses are effortless to style since they are an outfit all in one. All you need to do is pick some shoes, a handbag, and maybe an outer layer for the cooler months.
I love that this style dress works for so many different occasions. Work, church, date night, or just running errands…it works for all of them!
For this look, I chose a wooden sandal in a congnac color. Mine are from Loft (a few years ago). This pair is similar.

For sizing I went with a medium which gave me plenty of room. The top is smocked and there is a nice flowy sleeve that drapes in a flattering way. It also has a tie in the back.
This is a good way to dress for fall without being too hot. If you live in a humid climate like I do, the best way to incorporate fall vibes is with color and this maxi dress is a good example.
