Spring Outfits: Old Navy New Arrivals!

Are you starting to take inventory of your spring wardrobe needs? Now is the perfect time to check out the Old Navy New Arrivals, and I have some spring outfits for you today. I don’t shop at Old Navy near as much as I used to in my younger days; however, don’t rule out this retailer if you are over 50 like I am. They have several styles that flatter us more mature women, and the prices are very affordable.

Spring is a time when I crave bright, pretty colors so I incorporated some of those in the pieces that I chose. These are all casual spring outfits, but you will find some dresses that can be dressed up or down depending on how you style them.

Sleeveless Mini Swing Dress

Spring Outfits: blue floral dress from Old Navy

The most casual spring dress in this collection is the sleeveless mini swing dress. I feel like Old Navy has had this style dress since I was in my 20’s, yet I never get tired of it! It’s the most flattering shape, and nothing is more easy or comfortable in the spring and summer months.

Fit & Flare Smocked Midi Dress

Spring outfits make me think bright green. It’s one of my personal favorite colors to wear, and if you are a brunette you will probably get compliments when you wear this color! The fit & flare smocked midi dress is another classic style the Old Navy does so well. Besides the green, there are 5 other colors/prints. I’m wearing a small and it runs true to size.

If you have a vacation planned, this is a wonderful travel dress. It has a very casual vibe, so wear with sandals to dress it up, or switch the shoes to sneakers or flip flops to dress it down. The shoes I’m wearing in the photos are also from Old Navy. They are the kitten heel thong sandals and they come in bone and black.

Spring Outfit: Shirt Dress

I can’t resist a good shirt dress! They are so classic and can be worn for almost any occasion. This one comes in white and black and can be worn as is or belted.

Personally, I do prefer the belted version. My belt is a favorite from Amazon. I love that it is adjustable! Go with your normal size or size up if you have a larger chest. I’m wearing a small and the buttons did not gap open on me.

Linen Blend Midi Dress

Tis the season for linen and linen blend fabrics. This linen blend midi dress is very classy and it reminds me of my vintage barbie dress!

You might have noticed my Barbie collection showing up in the background. The girls will be wearing all types of fashion…some vintage and some newer. I’ve loved fashion since I was little, and the Barbies are so fun to collect. Here’s a quick shot of some of my collection. Let me know in the comments if you are interested in seeing more of them. Okay, sorry to get side tracked! Back to the dress…This fits so nicely and also comes in a neutral flax linen color.

Fit & Flare Jumpsuit

Jumpsuits make great spring outfits, and I wanted to love this one but it was too low cut for me. I wish they would have made the top a little different because the rest of it fit so nicely.

I love the pockets and I could see wearing this for a night out with friends, or a special occasion.

Spring Outfits: New Tops

I have two new spring tops from Old Navy. The first is Every-Wear Side Tie Top. It comes is a few different colors and I’ve already gone back and ordered this one in black.

I’m wearing a size small, and I love the tie detail on this top. It really cinches in your waist and can be worn with so many things. I paired it with my favorite black wide leg jeans from Sophia Vergara.

The last piece for your spring outfit inspiration is this linen blend button down crop shirt. Don’t let the “crop” part of this bother you, it just sits at the natural waist if left untucked. I couldn’t resist my favorite color…blue. It comes in 5 other colors/prints.
