It’s been a while since I featured some things from Loft. They seem to be a bit off their game since filing for bankruptcy earlier this year. Not to worry though, they have reorganized and I hear that they are not going anywhere. They were very late getting their fall line in, and for a while there just wasn’t much that thrilled me. They seem to be catching up, although I still don’t see a lot of holiday looks. I did, however, place an order recently and I think you will enjoy these easy fall to winter outfits. They are good for milder fall days, and can transition into colder weather.
I have three outfits to show you. They are all pretty casual, yet they can be worn when you want to take it up a notch from jeans and a sweatshirt. I have a denim outfit, a leggings outfit, and a cute casual dress!
Outfit #1
First is the Flecked Shirttail Poncho Sweater. Poncho sweaters can sometimes be unflattering and cause you to lose your shape, so I sized down in this one. Loft clothes tend to run a little big anyway, so I like the way this fits. It’s a size small and I normally wear a medium at Loft.
I added a Y necklace that I have had for a while. I linked a similar style here.
My jeans are the high waisted raw hem straight leg jeans. This exact style is no longer available, so I linked a very similar style. I would recommend going with your normal size or if you are in between, size down.
The nice thing about wearing cropped jeans is that they look good with ankle boots without having to cuff your jeans.
Outfit #2
This next easy fall to winter outfit is another poncho sweater paired with houndstooth leggings. I am usually very skeptical of light colored leggings, but these were actually very flattering. I kept these since I didn’t have anything like them in my closet.
This sweater is called the Shirttail Poncho Sweater and I did go ahead and get a medium in this one. I did that because I wanted to make sure that it would be long enough to wear with leggings.
Tall boots complete this look. Mine are old, but I linked a similar option. I think this would be a nice Thanksgiving outfit.
Outfit #3
I have always been a dress girl! I don’t wear them as much in the colder months, but I couldn’t pass up this adorable dotted swing dress.
For now, the weather is warm enough where I live that I could just wear it like this with tall boots and bare legs. When it gets colder, I would add some off white tights.
The button detail on the back just add to the charm of this dress. I am wearing my usual size medium.
All three of these combinations are easy fall to winter outfits and I had a hard time deciding what to keep and what to return. I wish I could keep all the clothes I show here, but of course I can’t do that! Do you have a favorite? Let me know what you think of these outfits in the comments.
