New Fall Arrivals From Walmart

My favorite time of the year is approaching, and I just love transitioning my wardrobe to fall! There are new arrivals dropping everywhere and today a have a huge try on featuring new fall arrivals from Walmart. I know you ladies love the Walmart posts, and this one is packed with some great fall finds!

Cutout Sweater Dress

I only have one dress to show you in today’s post and it’s this Cutout Sweater Dress by Sophia Vergara. Ladies, this dress is marked down to only $9 and I’m amazed that it has not sold out already! I love this camel color for fall, and it also comes in black, white, and lavender.

I sized up to a large in this style which was a mistake. It is unfortunately too big for me, and not very flattering. Just go with your normal size or size down if you might be in between sizes.

Cut outs are trending for fall 2022 and this dress features an interesting neckline. You get the look of a mock neck and a v-neck all in one. Also the cutout is not too revealing, making this dress appropriate for many occasions.

My boots are the Tall Slouch Boots by Time and Tru. These are a steal at just under $35! I also accessorized with the Time and Tru Crossbody bag. The light tan color has sold out, but the black and cognac is available which I might even like better!

Sweaters

Walmart has several new styles of sweaters. Some can be worn now, and some are for colder weather. If you see something you like, I would not assume that it will be restocked…especially these days when everything seems to be in short supply.

Cable Knit Pullover

First is this short sleeve cable knit pullover by Time and Tru. This is a great piece to wear now and into the fall. I chose this blue color in a size medium. It also comes in pink and cream. This would also be good for the office or for teachers to wear in the classroom.

My jeans are the Luisa Wide Leg Crop Jeans by Sophia Vergara. These are still available in limited sizes. They have a generous fit with moderate stretch. I’m wearing a size 8.

Cutout Turtle Neck Sweater

Here is another cutout style by Sophia Vergara. This sweater is also on sale for only $7! I’m wearing a size large in the camel color. There are also other colors, but sizes are beginning to be picked over. Note the bell sleeve detail as well as the cutout.

Tie Front Cardigan

This tie front cardigan by Time and Tru is a great piece for now and later. It features a tie front closure making it a great layering piece. I’m wearing the beige in a size medium. It also comes in green and black.

I’m wearing the same Sophia Vergara jeans with some Lug Sole Chelsea Boots by Madden NYC. This is another fall 2022 trend that will carry over from last year.

Boyfriend Cardigan

Now for a more cozy piece, this boyfriend cardigan by Time and Tru just looks comforting. This is a light weight shaker stitch with a three button tortoise shell closure. I was drawn to this winter white color, and it also comes in black and two stripe patterns.

Tops

Waffle Pullover Top

I have several waffle knit tops to share today. The first is this waffle pullover top. Puff sleeve details and a center seam down the front make this a great top to pair with leggings. I sized up to a large to make sure I had enough length for leggings, but you could go with your normal size for a less oversized look.

If you are more petite, I think this would work for you as a top to wear with leggings but for me it didn’t cover the bum very well. I would need to size up to an XL for an oversized fit.

Waffle Peasant Top

The second waffle knit top is a peasant top. This is a pullover style with a split neck detail and nonfunctional buttons. There is a very popular Free People waffle knit top that was in the Nordstrom Sale last year and this top reminds me of that one, except it is much more affordable.

I’m wearing the winter white in a size medium, and there are three other colors to choose from.

Waffle Henley

The last waffle knit is this traditional waffle henley with a slightly puffed sleeve. I like the puffed sleeve because it’s not over the top, but gives a more feminine look to the top.

Quilted Top

This quilted top by Time and Tru is another feminine take on a henley style top. The quilted pattern is not bulky and I’m wearing my usual size medium in Time and Tru.

Smocked Cuff Sweatshirt

What is fall without cozy sweatshirts? This one has the cutest smocked cuffs giving it a feminine touch. I sized up to a large because I like my sweatshirts oversized. This style comes in four colors. This is a must have sweatshirt by Time and Tru.

Outerwear

I know it’s early, but Walmart has some really cute outerwear so stock up now before they are gone!

Puffer Jacket

I spotted this floral puffer jacket by Time and Tru in store. It has beautiful fall colors and is a boxy style. I’m wearing a medium and it does come in solid colors, so check the link for all the options.

Quilted Puffer Vest

This quilted puffer vest by Big Chill is a nice transitional piece. I love this pretty blush color, but other colors are also available. For some reason I accidentally ordered a small, but it seems to work.

Two Piece Set

No Boundaries has a good selection of two piece sets. As a 51 year old, I have to be careful and selective when shopping this brand since it is a junior sized line and I also find that the quality is not as good as other Walmart brands.

That being said, I have come across a few pieces from this brand that work for me. This two piece set is on sale for $9. Since the top is a bit cropped, I sized up even more than I usually would. I overcompensated by ordering an XXL. The top fit perfectly, but the pants would not even stay on my body. I clipped them in the back to take this photo.

Since this set is buttery soft, I want to wear it as a lounge set at home. I ordered another set in an XL and I think the pants will fit much better. Click the link to see the other color options.
