Stylish Walmart Fashion On A Budget

I recently did some online shopping at Walmart and picked up these 7 pieces. I did not purchase the shoes because I have so many, but if you need a nice pair of summer basic sandals this pair of raffia slides are super cute!

Walmart Fashion For Summer

Outfit #1

The first outfit it this cute stripe halter style tank by Free Assembly. This is a navy and white color combo and is only $12. I’m wearing a medium, and the fit is perfect. I did wear a strapless bra underneath.

I paired the tank with these navy high rise pleated shorts with a 4 1/2″ inseam, also by Free Assembly. These are 100% cotton and have front pleats and a relaxed fit. The length is modest and these look like something you would purchase at J. Crew. Since I didn’t have an elevated pair of shorts, this pair will be finding a home in my closet! For size reference, I’m wearing a size 8 with a loose fit.

Outfit #2

The next Walmart fashion find is this classic looking striped button down by Free Assembly. I’m showing the blue and white stripe, and it also comes in a red/white stripe, and solid white. I paired it with the same navy shorts. This is a good example of how you can really dress up these shorts!

This is a slightly cropped shirt, but in the best possible way! It does not show any skin, yet skims the waistline just perfectly. If you decide to tuck it in, there is just enough fabric to do so without a lot of extra bulk. I might be picking up the red and white stripe too. I’m wearing a medium, and it has a relaxed, generous fit.

Outfit #3

Walmart has such a great selection of affordable summer dresses that look much more expensive than they really are. You can’t go wrong with a white eyelet dress, and this one by Time and Tru does not disappoint.

Colors are available in white, pink, and navy but are selling out quickly. This is such a well made dress and is lined. I’m wearing a size medium and it has a roomy fit. If you like this style, don’t wait on this one. For only $19.98 you can’t beat it.

Outfit #4

Nothing says summer like a classic linen dress. Time and Tru got it right with this linen blend midi dress that comes in black or khaki. There are just so many ways to wear this casual piece. Here I wore braided slides, but I think this would also look so cute with white sneakers and a sun hat.

Another affordable option at $22.98 that looks like a high end piece. I’m wearing a size medium and it fits true to size.

Outfit #5

The last outfit in today’s Walmart Fashion try on is this casual terry cloth button down shirt with matching shorts. This is so comfortable…it’s like wearing a bathrobe in the form of clothing. Each piece is sold separately for perfect sizing. I’m wearing a medium in both.

Take this on vacation for a swim cover up, or wear around the house for the most comfortable summer outfit. The shorts are long enough to wear out and about. I chose black, and there are three other color options.

The top is a collared button down style with a slightly cropped length; however, it’s perfectly long enough to tuck in.

The shorts have a comfortable elastic waist and two side pockets.
