We are having a heat wave in “Hotlanta” this week, but that isn’t stopping me from focusing on fall decor! Today I’m showing you how to create a stylish fall entryway with a few key pieces.
Welcome To My Home
Come on in the front door and I will share how I decorated our entryway for fall! I left my Hydrangea wreath on the front door for now, but I do have a fall one waiting. I think I will hold off until September to change it out.
I have this one from Amazon already. (Photo Above)
I also purchased this one from Walmart, which is currently on it’s way (Photo Above).
This is my foyer, and it is a narrow hallway that leads to the kitchen and main living space of our house. Immediately to the left our some french doors that lead to what we call the music room. I keep my piano there and a couple of chairs for morning coffee and reading.

Find The Right Furniture
When we decided to build our new home, I knew I wanted the perfect foyer table to set the tone for the rest of my home as you walk in the front door. Most homes have some type of entry hall or space, so take some time and pick the right piece of furniture for this area.
It should reflect the overall style of your home as well as your personal style.
I found this blue distressed piece at a local furniture store here in Georgia, and I love it! It coordinates nicely with our blue interior door color.
Here are some blue entryway tables to browse:
Area Rug
This is a high traffic area for my home, and with three dogs rugs don’t last very long around here. I chose an affordable style from Amazon that is machine washable. For my fall decor, I chose a color that has some burnt orange and also the blues that are in my home.
The grey basket on the floor holds all the dog leashes and shoes if needed.
Accessories
Now, the fun part…accessories! You will want good lighting for your entryway table. I got my lamp from Home Goods. This one is similar.
A large floral arrangement is the star of this display. I created the arrangement with fall stems that I already had in my collection. Since I haven’t purchased art or a mirror to go on the wall behind the table, I wanted an arrangement that was tall.
On one side of the table are some glass jars filled with seasonal pieces. Miniature pumpkins and organic fillers are perfect for this. This glass apothecary jar set is similar.
My French Vanilla candle is a nice easy transition to fall. I will replace it with a pumpkin scent a little later.
Finally on the left side, there is one of my favorite white owls and some blue and white pumpkins.
By the way, that’s Molly…she is always there to greet at the door! I hope you enjoyed this little mini tour. I will be sharing more fall inspired decor soon.
As I mentioned, most everything I used for this look were things I already had…except the rug is new. I will link some similar items in the shopping widget below if you want to create a similar look of your own.
