Are you tired of feeling like you have to choose between staying on-trend and staying true to your classic style? Well, the good news is, you don’t have to! In today’s fast-paced and ever-changing fashion world, it can be overwhelming to keep up with the latest trends while still maintaining a timeless and elegant look.
My personal style is always evolving and for the past couple of years I have really leaned into classic, quiet luxury looks. They really speak to me and give my wardrobe a calm and confident aesthetic. I find myself less interested in trends, but I do like to experiment with some of them.
Who remembers jelly shoes? If you grew up in the 80’s you probably had a pair. I remember begging my mom for a pair, and I did get some white ones. Well, jellies are back and I think this is a fun and nostalgic way to enjoy a trend. We are seeing jelly shoes in all different forms of flats and sandals. The plastic has also made it’s way to handbags which I’m not mad about.
During Amazon Prime Days, I decided to purchase a couple different styles of jelly shoes. Let’s see how I styled them. I also found this adorable bag at Target, so I will style that too!
Jelly Mary Janes With Classic Shirt & Dark Wash Denim
A good button down top is a must have for classic style! I love this brown and white stripe shirt that I purchased last year. I paired it with some wide leg dark wash jeans from Free Assembly. These are great quality jeans and are under $30. The outfit is completed with my jelly handbag, which results in a chic look with a touch of a trend.
Black Midi Dress & Jelly Shoes
Every woman needs a nice midi dress for summer. This black one is from Free Assembly. It is sold out ,but this one from Quince looks really nice. I prefer a simple solid color with no patterns. The classic black is then complimented by the playful shoes.
Blush Jelly Shoes Outfit
The blush jellies look nice with casual pant, like these wide leg cropped pants from Banana Republic Factory. I linked several similar styles down below. My pink pointelle sweater is from Target (sold out). A short sleeve sweater is a good transition to fall piece, and I linked some similar styles for this as well.

Classic style is by no means boring or outdated. In fact, classic style is said to be timeless. Yes, the cut of the jeans will change, but the basics of this style can serve you for many seasons.
