This is the time of year when many of us are planning vacations or maybe a quick spring getaway trip to a warm destination! I thought this would be a good time to do a spring Target try on with some new things that I ordered.
Target always seems to have the cutest feminine tops, and this year is no exception. This long sleeved smocked top is adorable! I chose this green and white floral patterns, and there are a few other colors to choose from as well. The solid lavender version is also very pretty.
I styled it a couple of different ways. First I paired it with my white flare jeans by Sophia Vergara and my new white sandals from Amazon. I really like how the floral top looks with white denim.
For look number 2, I paired the peplum top with my green joggers from Kohl’s. To see more about these pants, check out this post.
Target always has a nice selection of swimwear at affordable prices. I found two-one piece styles and some cover up pants that I really like. If you are planning a trip to a warm destination, you should give these some serious consideration.
First is this floral one piece by Kona Sol. It has a beautiful and feminine floral pattern with a very small ruffle detail on the straps.
I have a very long torso, which makes finding a one piece that fits me a challenge. I ordered a size large and it fit me everywhere except it wasn’t long enough. It was pulling downward even though you can’t tell in the photos. For this reason I returned it, but if you have different proportions or are more petite this won’t be a problem for you.
It is available in sizes XS-XL and runs true to size.
The second swimsuit that I chose is this one shoulder floral print, which is also by Kona Sol. I’m wearing a size large and it fit me perfectly. The soft blush pink, yellow, and coral tones are so pretty.
Let’s talk about these tie front cover up pants! These are a pull on style pant with a wrap around tie front that resembles a sarong. The leg slits create a breezy style with plenty of movement and comfort. My white sandals are also from Walmart (last year) and are still available.
I chose the classic white cover up pants, but there are other solid colors and a couple of prints to choose from. They run true to size, and I’m wearing a medium.
