Bra shopping is not the most fun, but we all know how important it is to find a bra that does all the right things! Personally, I refuse to wear an underwire bra even though I have a larger chest. There are so many options available today that there is no need to suffer in discomfort. Comfortable bras do exist, and you don’t have to sacrifice support.
I’m a size 36D and I’m 53 year old. I like a bra that is comfortable, supportive, and lightly lined. I also look for a back that is smoothing. Recently I was scrolling the Amazon deals and came across this seamless bra with scalloped edging. I was intrigued so I ordered one to try. My expectations were low, as I usually don’t buy bras without trying them on.
I was shocked and delighted when it arrived and looked like very good quality and felt as soft as the photo made it look. I tried it on and it fit perfectly ( I ordered a size L). Then came the true test…the all day wear test. Ladies, I was blown away at how comfortable, supportive, and pretty this bra turned out to be!
The best part of all is the price. This feels like something you would buy at Soma or a higher end retailer, but it’s so affordable. Soma Enbliss Bralette
For several years, the Soma Enbliss Bralette has been my go-to in the comfortable bras category. They are more expensive than the Amazon bra, but they do go on sale occasionally. This is another wireless style that gives me plenty of support and they are comfortable enough to sleep in if you choose to.
I have the traditional style and the racer back style which comes in very handy with tank tops. I have this bra in every color and highly recommend it. It will give you a smooth silhouette and mine have held up wash after wash.
