Boho Maxi Dress

‘Tis the season for maxi and midi dresses! That’s fine with me because I love both styles, and I am a dress girl. Today I have a pretty boho maxi dress from Amazon to show you. I can imagine wearing this dress for so many occasions and we are all looking for pieces that are practical for the time that we live in. If a dress can serve multiple purposes, then that makes it even better.

I’m calling this a Boho Maxi Dress because of the print, but the style is really just a classic wrap dress. A wrap style dress flatters my body type, so I gravitate toward them. Red is one of my signature colors, so of course I chose this color but this dress comes in a wide variety of prints and colors.

For sizing, I would say go with your normal size. I am wearing a large. The nice thing about a wrap style is that I can size up to fit my top half and the waist can be cinched in to give me shape. As much as I love flowy babydoll style summer dresses, they really don’t do much for my body type. I still wear them from time to time, but if your shape is anything like mine, you will find that a dress with a defined waist will be more flattering.

As I mentioned, I can see wearing a boho inspired maxi dress for many occasions. You will notice that the overall vibe is more on the casual side, so I am wearing simple sandals in these photos. You could dress it up with wedges, and if you are petite you will probably have to wear a heel anyway to avoid the dress being too long.
